According to Ali from Carlsbad, he says “Best local sports bar and grill in San Marcos. They do right every day of the week. Wings are bomb, drinks are well poured, Sunday’s have bottomless mimosas, and amazing French toast and every football game on imaginable. I love this bar. Not to mention, the food is actually great; mahi-mahi fish tacos are unreal. Pool tables, DJ’s on the weekend, and a fun crowd.”

Melanie from San Marcos says “My husband and I like to adventure out on our date night and try something new which led us to the 55 Yard Line. We walked in and it felt like a bar you’d find in a small town which we really liked. Our server was really nice and attentive with good recommendations on our food. The food was typical bar food but seemed fresh and their ABC chicken sandwich was really good. I wasn’t crazy about the mozzarella sticks because they were different but not bad. They have this spicy ketchup that apparently you can only buy there and it’s amazing so we did. They pretty much have one dessert but that’s all they need because it was really delicious. It’s some kind of apple tart served warm with pumpkin ice cream. Even my husband who is not the dessert kind of guy liked it. It wasn’t too sweet. We had 3 different people check on us to see if we needed anything. The service was some of the best I’ve had.”

Raymond just moved here from Pacific Beach and he says “Moved from PB to north county, checked out all the bars on my first Friday night and this one seems the most laid back (while still having a crowd), with pool tables and good drink specials during the week like $2 wells on Wednesday nights… Lot of TVs, and I have heard good food, but have not tried it yet…”
